The ComSwitch 8500-t adds a new level of convenience for any home or business
that uses TTY/TDD terminals along with other telephonic devices. Connect up
to 4 devices -- usually a TTY/TDD, answering machine, phone, and fax. When any
type of call comes in, it is greeted by a voice announcement that asks voice
callers to hold while they are automatically transferred to a standard phone.
At the same time, TTY/TDD callers are instructed to press their space bar to
route the call to the receiving TTY/TDD. Faxes are automatically detected and
routed.
Businesses can add credit card authorization terminals to their single line
with ease. International Compliant with international TTY/TDD protocols.
Telco Compatible - Works with telephone company calling features
like Voice Mail, Distinctive Ring, Call Waiting, Caller ID and more.
Light-Strobe Alert Compatible - Works with most light-strobe
alert equipment.
Network Accessible - Allows TTY/TDD devices to be networked
